Premier Toyota are proud sponsors of the annual Nick Beer 10k road race. This year's race, organised by North Wales Road Runners Club, took place on Sunday 20th February 2019.
Our All New Toyota Corolla, featured at the finish line on Llandudno Promenade and runners in the race were supported by a Toyota C-HR, complete with timer.
Over 700 entires were received and although it was very breezy around Marine Drive on the Great Orme, some excellent times were acheived. Overall winner was Gwyn Owen of Eryri Harriers in 34.40, 2nd was Stephen Skates of Prestatyn RC, 34.49 and 3rd Michael Corrales of Dark Peak FRC, 35.51. Ladies’ winner was Catherine Connell of Eryri Harriers in 39.16, second Alannah Birtwistle of Macclesfield Harriers, 42.04 and third Andrea Rowlands of Eryri Harriers, 42.32. Eryri won both team prizes. First locals: Stephen Mills of GOGs, 42.17 and Rachel Shipley of Abergele Harriers, 43.24.
For the first time, a 1k fun run was held before the main race along the promenade. This attracted over 40 participants with all proceeds to St David’s Hospice.
The club thanked all who assited on the day, especially the sponsors, Premier Toyota, Tesco, RS Scaffolding, Tom Owen and Son, Richard Williams, Sport Conwy, Trirox Training, Subway, Decantae, Dylan’s Restaurant and Junction Autopark.
